Teaching
Teaching philosophy
The foundation of my teaching philosophy is that mathematics should be taught with kindness and empathy, in a way that inspires confidence in mathematical ability, is student-centered and evidence-based, and allows students to take charge of their learning.
Experience
I have tutored various Master courses in the Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford, most often Continuous Optimization. In 2022-2023 I was a Stipendiary Lecturer in Statistics at St Peter's College and I taught various 1st and 2nd year courses in small groups. During my undergrad at the University of Groningen I was a teaching assistant for a few courses.
